Webinar «Exploring the "A" in STEAM – Where science, technology and creativity meet»
The Épica Foundation, represented by Fran Iglesias, took part in the European seminar "Exploring the 'A' in STEAM," which examined how art drives scientific innovation. Iglesias explained that the Foundation operates as a laboratory where artistic methodologies are not a complement, but a research tool for pushing the boundaries of technology.
During his presentation, Fran Iglesias argued that real innovation emerges at the intersection of disciplines, advocating for a horizontal collaboration that breaks down knowledge silos. He emphasized that Europe must combine its technological potential with humanism in order to address current challenges such as artificial intelligence in an ethical way.
Finally, the Foundation was presented as an ecosystem where creativity generates real value and solves complex problems. Iglesias highlighted that art provides a "necessary disruption" that gives meaning to technology, consolidating the Épica Foundation as a benchmark for the STEAM model in social and economic development.
