Pep Gatell and Nadala Fernández, from the Fundació Èpica La Fura dels Baus, took part as speakers in Session 19 of the Mugaritz Creativity Programme, held at Madrid Culinary Campus. Entitled "Parallels between Performing Arts and Gastronomy", the session explored the connections between scenic creation and the culinary world.

The presentation highlighted the essence of La Fura dels Baus: a pioneering company that reconceptualised two fundamental elements of dramatic art, space and audience. Their commitment to non-conventional spaces and to an active spectator, breaking the "fourth wall", gave rise to the so-called "furero language", successfully brought to disciplines as diverse as opera, cinema, and large-scale spectacle.

This participation reaffirms the Fundació Èpica's commitment to knowledge transfer across artistic disciplines and its capacity to inspire creative processes well beyond the performing arts.
