The Gate Pro is a professional action oriented event that promotes debate, discussion and reflection on the challenges and opportunities in the confluence of art, science, technology and society as a key driver to face and envision the future.
Leading international figures from disciplines such as marine sciences, architecture, urban planning, climate change, artificial intelligence and art will participate in the event, proposing meeting points between disciplines.

Three main parts
1.- Panels with multidisciplinary experts and stakeholder: to introduce strategic concepts and mission for the current Research and Innovation ecosystem and the overall society.
2.- Interactive and participatory Messy Studios: format with tables max 7 and one moderator, continue the discussion about the topic, create momentum, connections and take decisions between people and organisations about the role of multidisciplinary art, science, technology and society R+D+I ecosystems, in shaping the future of Europe.
3.- Networking activities: designed to officially launch the Gate Pro ecosystem, as group of relevant stakeholders and decision making people.

The session focuses on the debate around the evolution of cities in a new ecosystem dealing with increasingly rapid changes. Cities, which have been and will be a key element in the evolution of society, need to adapt, in the coming years, to radical physical and conceptual/social changes.

The session aims to reflect and debate on both the technical and ethical limits of the human-machine inter-relationship, as well as the knowledge-use intersections, the possible new interfaces that facilitate this relationship or even the possible new realities where this relationship takes place (metaverse).

During the session, the previous experiences of the last years, the successful and unsuccessful ones, as well as reference initiatives such as S+T+ARTS or the new New European Bauhaus will be analysed. Focusing on i) the analysis of their impact, both intra and inter sectorial, ii) the need to find the necessary indicators to validate their potential or ii) to define the type of collaboration framework in quadruple helix (administration, academia, business and society).
