Affabulazione, Napoli
The Fundación Épica participates for the second consecutive year in the initiative Affabulazione 2023 with Quartieri dell'Art Festival, promoted by the Comune di Napoli and the Italian Ministry of Culture to develop, in the suburbs of the city, projects of social inclusion, territorial rebalancing, employment protection and enhancement of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
The Foundation has joined the project by participating in 2 activities that took place on September 17th and 18th.
On September 17th took place the debate and re-reading around the co-creation project "Le Quattro Morti di Pier Paolo Pasolini" of which the President and Artistic Director of the Foundation Pep Gatell was part of the 2022 edition of the Affabulazione initiative. The play written by Gian Maria Cervo and premiered last year, reflects on the figure of Pier Paolo Pasolini. During the conversation, which was also attended by some of the project's actors, the work process and the inclusion of a second narrative through the Kalliope tool were discussed as a key element to allow audience participation in the experience.
On 18 September, the interactive virtual experiment "La Tempestad en Casa" (2020) was screened at Poggioreale, a project produced in co-production with the International Cervantino Festival, the National Theatre Company of Mexico, for the 48th edition of the International Cervantino Festival. The projection featured elements of live interaction through the Kalliope app along with performative dynamisation.
