Peplandia

From Fundación Épica La Fura dels Baus, we promote Peplandia, a project born from a real-life experience of the foundation’s president, Pep Gatell, and transformed into a platform for knowledge, community and innovation for people with dysphagia, ostomies or other conditions that make eating difficult.

Peplandia brings together adapted recipes, practical advice, health resources and personal stories aimed at improving the quality of life of those facing these situations. It also seeks to be an open space to raise awareness of a still little-known reality and to build community among affected people, families, caregivers and healthcare professionals.

The initiative combines research, gastronomy, science, art and lived experience. From Fundación Épica, together with Mugaritz, we understand Peplandia as a collaborative space where knowledge is built collectively, with empathy, creativity and a commitment to social impact.
